Question about Trump's Miracle Drug Cure for COVID-19

From what I've seen on the news, the drug has serious side effects: like it messes with your heart and can kill you.

If people start dropping dead from this cure he's been actually TELLING PEOPLE TO TAKE, does he have any legal liability for that?

I think, at this point, Trump could actually endorse arsenic as a cure and be untouched by the law. Girard442 Apr 2020 #1

The only cases where it has shown improvement, I have heard several Dr.s* state this, would be in a patient whose immune system overreacts to the virus. Otherwise it can cause heart issues and even cause eye damage among other concerns.

* Dr. Fauci, Dr. Chopra, and a few whose names I don't recall who have been speaking up.

It works for autoimmune disorders. Makes sense it would have an application here.

Otherwise... nothing
