Kansas Republicans overturn governor’s order restricting crowd sizes in churches
Published 6 mins ago on April 8, 2020By Matthew Chapman

On Wednesday, Republicans on the Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council voted to overturn Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly’s executive order restricting attendance at church and funereal services to 10 people or less.

Kansas Republicans overturn governor’s order restricting crowd sizes in churches
Published 6 mins ago on April 8, 2020By Matthew Chapman

The decision came after GOP state Attorney General Derek Schmidt warned that the order is unconstitutional. Schmidt declared the order to be “sound public-health advice that Kansans should follow” but advised state police not to enforce it.

WTF is wrong with these people???

Are they so weak minded that they can't stay home for a few Sundays? If I went to a church that was encouraging attendance during pandemic, I'd find another church! 🤬

other organizations should have the right to refuse service to anyone who attends those churches/services. It's obvious that the repugnants are trying to create a "superclass" of evangelicals who are not subject to the law.

Fk that - they are endangering everyone! Because you know they will drag their nasty asses all over the country after going to church.

And, yes, businesses should be allowed to not serve the fkn idiots.

Isn't Kansas the state that tried to ban evolution in public schools years ago, prompting the "Creation" of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Just knowing that there are IDIOTS like this out there, makes me scared shitless about going outside and being around people.

I'm not in Kansas, but have little doubt, there are folks here who would gladly pack a church if they had the opportunity. They are not taking this situation seriously. STILL.

I recall Jesus saying it wasn't a good idea to do that. But what did he know? Let's see if God will miracle your congregation through a pandemic. The downside is that a lot of people who aren't this lethally stupid will have the contagion passed to them.

Make all people who defy the crowd gathering by going to church wear an armband with a cross on it, so that we can avoid them and the plague in social situations.

I grew up and moved away but family is still here so I came back in retirement...I'd like to live elsewhere
but with my fixed income and health can't really go anywhere. There are a few of us libs here but the stupid
surrounding us is kind of harsh. My fundi neighbors, who I have gotten along with (mainly because they needed
my help to fix their computers and phone) aren't speaking to me now because I wouldn't go to their apt and
help hook up the new 60 inch tv they bought on credit card banking on the stimulus payment. They run all over
creation (thinking the virus is a hoax and jebus is protecting them, I am self isolating and had a bit of a cold
so didn't want to be around these dopes...both for my safety and theirs. So really this is a good thing but typical
of my area....morons....

how stupid they are given that according to the map on MSNBC Kansas went over 1000 cases today.

I watch the numbers as I have many family member there. They are all Methodists so they think watching a service on tv (or not at all) is good enough.

I'm so glad you stayed safe & didn't go hook up their tee vee. Why do they always buy tee vees with tax returns & gubmint money? 😳

Cripers, can you even imagine 60" of Fauz Snooze or dump? 🤮
