From: https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-52239925/page/4
It's an anxious time for all of us, but especially for new and expecting mothers.
This hospital in Thailand is taking an extra protective measure, giving newborn babies mini face shields.
Pictures from the Praram 9 Hospital in Bangkok show them swaddled in their blankets while nurses attempt to put on the plastic shields.
There were 54 new virus cases and two new deaths recorded in Thailand on Thursday, bringing the total death toll to 32 and confirmed cases at 2,423.

Get perspective instead. In spite of the Republicans letting, even assisting, this to turn into a pandemic, we are so fortunate.
For all of human history up to less than 100 years ago, death was far closer and more real a risk for everyone, and a far more common part of people's lives, than we have any conception of. Death at any but the elder years is increasingly shocking to us. That death could and did at any age was simple reality when my own mom was a child.
Epidemic diseases were extremely common and hit towns and families all the time, not just the biggies in the history books. Everyone knew someone or several, or a bunch, who died during outbreaks.
And this baby's chances of living for even two days, much less a long, healthy life, were never a fraction so good.

Knowing what we know (if you follow scientists) about the state of our planet and the very bleak outlook, why would anyone want to subject their children to this future?
