(12,286 posts)Not just the individual money, but small business loans, etc.
Where is this 2 trillion dollars?
No one I know has seen a dime of it.
I run a small business and have sent emails to all of our small business clients, and over 100 o them have applied for the small business assistance loans and no one has seen any money.
No tests.
No money.
No plan.
No way to run a country.

(3,169 posts)The banks are utterly overwhelmed by applications because every business is applying to every bank, in the hopes that at least one approves the money before any validation is in place.
The banks are performing risk assessment on those applications with no real data on how many or which of the businesses will survive with the loan.
They dont want to make boneheaded decisions and are being careful how they play this out.
Of course the government has given no guidance at all. Its all very well to say this money is available, everyone has a responsibility to safeguard it as much as possible and at least be ethical about the way they handle even when there are no other rules to play by.
