Today the number 100,000 will be passed. COVID-19 deaths. let that sink in.

World wide deaths ..and only those being reported; it is likely, and will be, far worse. And the orangina rectum is ready for "open for business " in a few weeks.

Our "leader" is the mayor in the movie Jaws. Let's open the beaches!

They’ll need armed guards to manage the crowds when the beaches are opened back up. That is if they have any money to get here.

The beach draws people in like a magnet. Even when a hurricane is bearing down on us, they have to send sheriff’s deputies to patrol to keep people out of the water. Everyone wants to see nature doing her thing, even though the Weather Channel is showing it 24/7. So after this spell of shutdown, you can be sure they’ll arrive by the carload. Never mind the health risks or the hit on their wallets. (Beach living is not cheap.) After what we’ve been through, they will figure they deserve a vacation.

I don’t know about y’all, but vacationing is not what is on my mind. I just would like to know with a fair degree of certainty that I can go to the store for food and supplies without risking my life. Yea. Remember the good ol’ days?? Little did we know in Jan. and Feb. that those happier times were about to end.

about nothing except vacation!!! I want to go away! I want to see something besides my route to work! I want to plan a vacation I know I have a good chance of taking! Don't worry, I will avoid your beach.

Just saying, I want regular life to be okay, too. Then I’ll feel better about vacations. Every now and then I think about a trip back to France or somewhere in Europe. Then I remember the predicament we’re in. It makes me very sad because, like you, I want to go to some of these places (some again) before I get too old to go. When this mess is all behind us (fingers crossed) there should be some kind of mass celebration across the land. Sadly, we must bury the dead and mourn their loss.
