Newsom starts on time.

He has empathy.

Makes his statement with the facts, the new numbers, updates on what he and his team are doing.

takes questions from the phone/press and answers them without demeaning the person who asked the question.

has doctors and appropriate people (e.g., California surgeon general) with expertise on the stage with him ready to answer questions.

Has Sign Language person every day.

He seems to actually UNDERSTAND the facts.

covers it all in an hour.

reminds us to distance and take care of people.

He's cool, calm, and collected.
