The ratings will move the stations to stop covering it. It has worked many times when we have come together to boycott to make a point. Why are people continuing to watch? Its not like we are hearing anything of value that we could not get simply by watching regular news.
Just change the channel, or put on some good music. It will do your blood pressure a world of good 
There will only be one thing that will take RL off the air and it is currently residing in his lungs. Who is left on right wing radio to spew the lies and hate once he is gone? Allot of their power will be unplugged.
That doesn't mean we have not made a difference - we have. I've been here on DU for YEARS and I have watched it happen. Only by us standing together will change happen. I have faith that what is happening in the world right now is bigger than any virus, I have hopes that we are in the middle of an awakening and have an opportunity to correct our course with this earth and with our country.

Kept checking back to see what the host and panel had to say about it at MSNBC, but each time I checked he was still babbling. He has sounded that way from the first moment of his campaign. He has NOTHING a sane person would want to hear.
It's the way he says nothing which drives a person straight into disgust, repulsion, horror. He wheedles, bitches, whines, uses that shockingly odd cooing sound, and often hears a new word or invents one, and starts using it obsessively, until you think you have to scream: this week it's "aspirational."
How do you think his three wives kept from committing suicide when he entered his "pillow talk" phase? OMG. His spittle-covered anus-shaped lips forming unbearable whispery, confidential sounding tones right next to their ears....
Shudder. He NEVER shuts up. Today he urged his audience in the briefing to pretend they wanted him to talk longer as he complained there are some people who accuse him of talking too long. "Would you like me to talk longer?"
