President Krusty The Klown
I've been calling Trump "President Krusty The Klown" lately because this whole thing with Trump clamoring for his precious ratings seriously feels like an episode of the Simpsons. And there's one episode in particular that can really shed some light on this strange phenomena.
Just like Krusty The Klown, Trump has a history of hawking cheesy merchandise of considerably poor quality, has a drug problem, and is always up to some seriously shady after hours activities. He also paints his face and wears comically oversized ties. But is always chasing after his precious ratings.
The episode of the Simpsons in particular that is really coming to mind lately is the Season 7 episode called "Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming." In the episode, Sideshow Bob has had enough of television as it is corrupting and destroying minds. He then sneaks out on clean up duty and steals a nuclear weapon with the intent of detonating it unless TV ends forever. The TV shows all cave in to Bob's insane demands.
That is, except for one. Krusty decides that he can command 100% of the audience by stealing the emergency broadcast system signal and have it all to himself He'd be the only game in town! So he heads out to the remote alkaline flats of the Springfield badlands to steal the signal and begin broadcasting to have it all for himself.
And that's what this feels like. With nothing on the horizon - no new sports, or TV, or movies, or any content of any kind being produced for the foreseeable future until this disease is taken care of, Trump is literally the only game in town for some fresh, new content. That's why he is intent on staying on TV, on every network, for as long as possible. He is president Krusty The Klown. A laughable doofus with a very ugly side once the cameras stop rolling.

And it will be a first in their history as well because they are doing the skits remotely. Should be interesting to say the least. Also, will probably contain content about the idiot in the WH. 
They should do “Idiocracy”. So relevant today. Geez!
