(219 posts)Somehow it escaped me before that "19" means "2019" i.e. far before the governors had enough knowledge to work around the feds.
Sad for us that WHO got it wrong about ease of transmission. But the measures were generally correct: cough control & hand wash.

But found the epidemic update published dated Jan 20 2020 and it's there. Page 2 paragraph 3 on PDF of update
