strange times...

my daughter in Arizona lost her job weeks ago due to COVID… Arizona couldn't offer her unemployment despite circumstances...

so, she was pretty desperate and took an at home phone job taking orders for products people see hawked on TV... after 1 week she is disgusted... ranting about how companies exploit older people (especially now with everyone stuck at home)

Please, please, check on any susceptible senior you know, that may be getting conned into buying things they don't need or can't afford...

anyways, at the end of 1 week of the phone job she got offers for 2 Government jobs... USPS and VA... she is taking the VA job and since she will be moving back to Vermont will have to drive back and then quarantine for 2 weeks before she can start...

very, very strange times we live in

mess sits squarely at the feet of tRump and his enablers in the gop. They KNEW he was unqualified for the job, yet all gathered around him, praising him, making things even worse. Who could have foreseen a WH being run by a FAMILY of grifters, worse than a Mafia family? Steps HAVE to be taken to avoid another fiasco such as this in the future. The tRump family are not even intelligent, yet they are running the country!!! How many people saw the warnings about this virus, yet ignored all of them? The entire crew deserves to be infected with the virus, to understand what people are living through because of THEM. Despicable low class thieving CRETINS.

She doesn't have to put up with another summer.
And fuel prices are pretty low.

As someone that's loaded a U-haul in the summer here a couple of times, I'll say she's getting a bit of a break.
