President Abdicate, Doesn't know the meaning or consequences of abdication.
Because of Trumps obsession with himself, protecting himself, he decided to abdicate responsibility and give it to the Governors. He did this so he could blame them when things went wrong.
What he doesn't understand is when a president abdicates responsibility, they abdicate power. They relinquish their office. I can only imagine the shock Governors felt when Trump told them you are responsible for testing, ventilators, masks, etc, I'm backup.
Now the Governors are over their shock and they are consolidating the power abdicated to them. Trump is losing power, control, because of what he did trying to protect himself. Our Governors are gaining power.
Most of Trumps power has come from threats and blackmail. It has worked for him because no one would stand up to him. Now we are watching Governors like Newsome and Cuomo tell Trump to go fuck himself.
When a president declares a national emergency he is declaring responsibility and control. Trump declared a national emergency and then said I am not going to take control or responsibility. This will become part of the election.
Not only has Trump relinquished power, he is also losing power another way. Fewer and fewer people are listening to him. Why bother, he is not in charge, he said so himself.
