My sister is on SSDI (Social Security Disability Income) and I believe that they are supposed to get the stimulus, too. So she checked with her bank and nothing there.
I thought people who get social security income (of any kind) were having their checks directly deposited today as well. Am I wrong about that?
Thanks to all who have responded.

(55,007 posts)husband and I got ours to the account I do taxes from. he is on SS, I am not. his payment came with mine not to the account he gets his SS deposited to. I suspect SS and probably SSDI recipients will get theirs next. I hope all who need some help get it soon. The IRS is not the evil a lot of people claim, they are having to do an enormous job all while that moron is "leading" the country.

(15,951 posts)I read on AARP website that SSDI recipients who get every January a SSA-1099 benefit stmt and have their checks direct deposited (as my sister does) should also get their stimulus checks direct deposited too.
Hope you hear good news soon!
