My first thought was that I'm thrilled this will be on Fox. It will come as a surprise to people who have been spoonfed nothing but pablum for all these years.

My second thought was that the crown was maybe a little silly.

My third thought was also about the crown: Fox viewers are not critical thinkers and a little dumbing down of the message and a silly visual aid is probably deliberate and useful.

My fourth thought was that, unfortunately, a lot of Fox viewers would think "Hell Yeah King Trump!" But I hope some of them would take this message to their don't-tread-on-me flag-waving hearts. There may not be many of them who are sincere about not wanting tyranny no matter who the tyrant is.

Many thanks to these Republicans who care more about their country than their party. We disagree about just about everything, but I certainly respect and appreciate their patriotism.

I would argue that he's not even a president...hell, maybe not even a sentient life form.

Because although he can't relate, technically that's what he is.

At least to his MAGAts, that's what I prefer to remind them of to their face......

I see more attacks on Trump from Republicans, then I do from Dems. The Dems need to step it up! A strategy of waiting and hoping the people will see Trump's incompetence will fail. Attack ads need to be running constantly. Trump is already framing his failure as a failure of the WHO. Dems need to stop waiting and start taking action!!

If people are seeing, say, a 1:5 ratio of Republican to Democratic criticism, that would be more effective than a ratio of 1:100.

I hope the people who were putting out Mike Bloomberg's superb ads are just keeping their powder dry till after the convention. There's plenty of really strong evidence to go after Trump with; we don't want it to have become background noise by November.

Attack ads from Republicans are probably more effective. I just wish The Dems would be more proactive. Maybe I don't see ads etc. because I'm in a Blue State. But IMO, the Dems can't just sit back and hope for the people to see Trump for who he really is. The Dems need to go on the offensive!

I get it, though--it's so incredibly frustrating right now to watch his insane behavior while it seems like he's getting away with it without being called out.
