They at least understand this will be a very long and slow process, but trump still thinks this is a crock.

(58,785 posts)nationwide testing and contact screening and providing funding? They could always have done that. The Democratic minority in the senate will be on board the moment something forces them to act.
Btw, just looked and today senate Democrats once again proposed action: A plan to ramp up coronavirus testing that includes $30 billion in emergency funding. Unless "business" turns the screws on McConnell, expect him to block it along with everything else.
