Oh for f's sake, people thanking Trump for the stimulus act on twitter!

Just look at twitter right now, ridiculous amounts of praise from people thanking Trump for giving them money! No wonder why Trump was so adamant to push for his name to be printed on the checks, the stupidity of the average american voter can't be underestimated!

That is a paid for tag, I guarantee it. And Twitter is a cesspool. I don't recommend visiting there ever.

Don't make the same mistake and assume that 1/3 of that number is all there is. I've seen people do that--in the case of the executive, there is just one person, but when that's done to (a chamber of) Congress it's erasing a whole bunch of folks.

6. The saddest part of this is the money will flow right back into rich peoples pockets.

We will spend the money supporting our families, they will profit.

Vicious cycle. The stimulus was a scam.

will improve my cash flow going forward, but not a lot of local stim there.

OTOH, I will divert some funds here and another board I support, and try to buy local when the world opens up. Maybe drop a few bucks on some deserving candidates.

10. I realize the money will help people. It just seems so set up to help the wealthy the most.

I welcome the money, it will help us. It just saddens me that it flows right back into their pockets.

I should donate to DU, but I need to get the wife's permission, she controls all the purse strings, lol.

Why are so many people defending this incompetence. "be patient", " it's overloaded" "calm down people". an d on and on..this is literally a life and death issue and as i saw elsewhere someone said, it's nothing like affordable care act that was much more complex. Seriously, People are dying in this country and being evicted from their home, having utilities turned off and on top of that we are being told to STAY HOME, you cannot tell people to "stay home" dont work etc and expect them to starve and become homeless for god's sake. We have the best IT people in the world here in this country. So 1 phone call to Apple, Facebook, Google, Twitter any of them and I bet they could set up a portal in a few days if not hours. The US has servers large enough to track every email, phone call, text message in real time. So please dont be glib and tell people to be patient, or it will get fixed or whatever when people in the United States of America, dont have food! There has been plenty of time for our government to get this straight and obviously, they knew magnitude of people trying to get answers. Remember, this is TAX PAYER money so let's not be so gracious as if it's some contribution by Trump or congress.....this has been a gross negligence problem from day one. People died who didnt have to, people are suffering who dont have to. Let's get real for once, there is no excuse for this and no explanation. It doesn't take a genius to anticipate this, but it does take an idiot, fool, to NOT have anticipated this and used the IT experts, giant servers or whatever to get it right. More people will die today that simply do not need to.
It's time for the citizens to stop making excuses and defending this and start acting like this is a county OF THE PEOPLE and BY THE PEOPLE and FOR THE PEOPLE and it's up to us to correct it. I am one of those people who doesn't have food, getting utilities cut off. so I know how scared I am and my family is!
