I'm selecting the last option because I don't want to skew your numbers.

Though it is moderately bad in my county (closing in on 1k cases). I've been wondering if it is primarily in Lancaster itself and I am well out in the boondocks

But today found out he's been released from the ICU and is on a path to recovery. He's in NYC so there is that.

But, so far, don't know if any of my "real" friends or family have CV19 or have been hospitalized because of it.

My family (siblings, cousins etc.) is spread out over at least five states on both coasts and in between. Might be time to start an email roll call to see how everyone is doing.

was patient zero in my town. He was horribly ill. I didn't know and rang his doorbell to ask him to sign my petition for the Primary to retain my position as a district leader. His mother-in-law answered; she shooed me away saying that she had bronchitis and told me that "Bill" was very very ill. I left and saw another neighbor who told me that my next door neighbor was very sick with pneumonia. This was March 13th. I was slated for minor surgery on March 24th and on March 23rd, the second neighbor called me to tell me that "Bill" was taken to the hospital with covid19. I was completely beside myself wondering if I had contaminated myself by opening the screen door and ringing the doorbell.

He was in the hospital for about a week and I only saw him outside about a week ago. I greeted him, but he was barely able to talk to answer me. This is very scary folks!

BTW, our Town Hall went on lock down at 5:00 PM that day - 3/13.

He is on a ventilator.

My son's nephew has it, but he's in Colorado.
Last I heard nephew was doing OK, but miserable (having Covid and living alone etc)

The guy in Holland was sick for about ten days, but couldn't get tested, so recovered at home. He said it felt like an elephant sitting on his chest.

My friend in Belgium had to be hospitalized for 8 days, and he says his lung function is still poor. But he is slowly recovering. No idea if there is any permanent damage. That part is different with everybody. I'm just happy he made it.
