Capitalism is dead, long live Corporate Socialism!

What happened to the Free Market, survival of the fittest? Apparently, it does not apply to corporations even though the Supreme Court gives them the rights of individuals, without the risk.

When Adam Smith wrote the "Wealth of Nations" in 1776, he could not have foreseen that this wealth could have resided in so few hands.

They don't even bother to conceal it any more. They know that we can't or won't do a damn thing about it.

We, as progressives, are currently proceeding on the theory that if we elect Biden this November, then all will be well. The truth is that nothing will change but the White House letterhead, because the power no longer rests in the hands of the people. The courts have been sufficiently stacked to support the Fascist bastards, so we are truly screwed. "Because the people grew fat and got lazy, now their vote is just a meaningless hoax."

As long as we have food and circus we will sit passively by and watch the middle class sink into the swamp of Neofeudalism. All of the gains we made in the first half of the last century will be lost in the first half of this century. The book of the Rise and Fall of Americanism will span less than one hundred years, will have to be written in another country, and will be banned between the Atlantic and Pacific.

It is a fine fucking mess we have got ourselves into.

Anyone who doesn't understand this must be ignorant. It is all around us every day and in every disaster, or even just every economic blip.
