Note to any Republicans

It's not only safe to go out, but Trump's favorite game "Twister" is taking off and all the best Trumpsters are organizing marathon mass "Twister Trump-ins" to get to know other Trumpsters and raise money for MAGA campaign.

While waiting your turn on the "Twister Board" be sure to engage in friendly arm wrestling tournaments. Before leaving everyone is encouraging everyone to join hands in prayer and give a bear hug to each departing MAGA. Anyone who appears to be sporting a temperature should be given a "kiss of the Holy Spirit on the forehead.

When you get home relish the great memory by sitting in your favorite chair and avoid washing or taking a bath.

In this small way you will be doing the country a great service.

are making their bed and will have to sleep on it.

It is rather obviously not a wish for anyone to get the Virus but for people who engage in reckless behaviour to stop acting like jerks.

Far from wishing it on anyone it is using the absurd to make a point. If any Republican were to happen upon this, and If they read it here I assume they are not Trumpsters perhaps they could use this an example for their buttery friends to think.

Some people will stop smoking with a simple instruction. Some, like me, saw the absurdity in those anti smoking vignettes. When the CEO of a tobacco company made a strong defense of smoking and then was offered a cigarette in his office and responded "are you crazy?", I got the point.

Let me guess when you saw The Producers you thought the play within a play "Springtime For Hitler" was Mel Brooks homage to Adolf Hitler.

taking some sort of perverse pleasure in this. Stop it, and let's be proud of what DU stands for. It sure isn't what I'm reading here. I showed this thread to a couple of nurses I know. They did not see any humor in it at all. They basically said, "We don't ask for political affiliations when we are treating someone.". Justify it all you want, but I'm not buying it. So, no, this not like a Mel Brooks movie. This real life with real people dying.

You showed this to other people to get their opinion?

That is the most inane part of your response.

It is a satirical reflection on some Republicans refusal to grasp the science and politicize public health.

It points out the absurdity of a political position of several Republican Governors including Florida ( who wants to bring back professional wrestling) and South Dakota ( who is in unmoved by the infection of 600 in a single processing plant).

But it is most pointedly directed at the organized Trump supporters in 3 states that are advocating and carrying out the close intimate contact that I am ridiculing.

Brook's movie didn't make up the Nazis but ridiculed them, and they were real. The actions ridiculed in the OP are a mirror that Trumpsters are carrying out. Satire not your cup of tea then give it a pass but to suggest that it is actually an "aspirational" desire that some people would engage in twister parties is juvenile.

No Republicans were hurt in the writing of the OP but Republicans carrying out similar behavior in Michigan and other states will cause innocent people to die and for that they deserve scorn and ridicule.

Do they give a flying f of the nurses and Drs they are putting at risk. Their dear orange leader is a shitstain who disparages democrats daily. Anyone who disagrees with them is an enemy.

So I have a different take, we need to quit being better than them and knock the shit out of them using these tactics. Only thing they understand.

Not only will innocent people get infected but first responders like the 27 NY police officers who have died from Covid 19

And it is not consistent with progressive ideals to wish harm or misfortune on anybody no matter who they are or no matter whom they vote for. But I do see a lot of that here. I guess it just goes to show that the right wing does not have a monopoly on hate.

Not one of us blocked the road in front of a hospital and blocked ambulances lately. None of us are chanting to lock innocent people up. We're not the ones snatching desperately needed medical supplies from patients and medical personnel.

Your sense of perspective may vary.

While it is especially important to wear your MAGAt hat during activities that perplex the libs, be sure to wear it any time you are in public so all will know you're above the hoax.
