Amazing Grace 2020: How a high school wind ensemble is collaborating via distance learning

They'll improve as they learn how to record separately for maximum effect, but this is their first collaboration. You'll have to take my word for it that they are absolutely incredible on stage. Consistently score Superiors in regional and state competitions. Several of the seniors are bound for schools like Eastman, Julliard, and Vanderbilt. (My son is a junior in the band aiming for a conservatory spot in 2021.)

If you know of any student projects available online, please share. I know there are a lot of us here who cope through music and love to see our youth perform.

Be well and be safe!

using a click track or metronome to stay together....would be cool if the conductor could be visible in some way so they could play with rubato. Still pretty damn cool though...

The music gene skipped a generation in my family. My son gets his aptitude from my mom.

Love music, just can't play it. Yet gave birth to a chromosthete. Go figure.
