It is the states that are working in harmony, some of them anyway. Oregon gave NY ventilators they desperately needed, they sent them back when hospitalization went down. California is doing the same. They are also sending them to other states as well. States are sharing minimal supplies and the 'Resident does nothing. My niece does not have enough PPE and the 'Resident does nothing.

The states are doing what the 'Resident' refuses to do. They are doing everything they can to save Americans lives and do their best to protect the frontline of caregivers.

Normally, I am not a hater. I hate them all from the depths of my soul now.

MSNBC Stephanie Ruhle show reporting this AM that more than a dozen plants are shutdown or curtailing hours nationwide. Beef, pork, chicken ... high infection rates among employees, more than a few have died. One plant I think they said Georgia, 5% of nationwide production. Consumers recommended to buy only what they need, stores may limit supplies to avoid panic hoarding.

Both the MAGATs and moderate to left folks realize that the nation is crumbling, with infections and deaths spreading, the economy tanking, and supply systems breaking down. The right thinks the solution is to go back to work and slog it out despite illness and deaths. Until it happens to them or people close to them, they have a social Darwinist view. Let the weak and the old die; it's natural.

The left believes that continuing to work during a pandemic will not save the economy or the supply systems and networks. It will only hasten the downfall as people sicken and die, leaving gaps in the system and causing economic breakdown. We favor treating the illness first and stimulating the economy. Beating the illness with tests, quarentines, will allow the states to gradually reopen. Money given as a rescue now will save us economically in the long run when people safely return to work and pay back the rescue with tax revenue from their earnings.

As Trump incites fear and belligerence about reopening, the risk of violent attacks and consequent retaliation increases. A single violent act could trigger full scale battles between left and right because tensions and animosity are so high.
