Gonna be 76 today in the PNW. Unseasonably warm for this time of year, but my garden is loving it.

I also have a huge back lot that retains far too much water, in the early Spring, for me to mow. This year seems a little bit more mower friendly, if I can get to it before Sunday's rain.

On the bright side, though, our cooler temps have definitely stalled the grass growth.

I love Michigan, 3 seasons of the year. I hate it when there's snow on the ground.

I always put in a big vegetable garden, and I'm attempting to start tomatoes and peppers from seed. Not looking good. I'm now hoping the restrictions are lifted by mid-May so I can buy some plants. BUT, if not, then I'll stick to squash, peas and beans, which are always more reliable sprouters, in my experience, and buy my tomatoes and peppers from my locally owned Farmer's Market. And, I can live with dandelions and bare spots in my lawn. Those are preferable to putting people's lives at risk.

Hopefully next year will be closer to 'normal'.

And I curse those idiots who pulled that DANGEROUS stunt!!

here in NE Ohio. Supposed to rain/snow all day here and the temps won’t make it out of the 30s. Ah, spring in Ohio ....

Mr.O has his seeds starting already and yesterday the cucumbers sprouted.

I did manage to buy a fresh bag of potting soil, before the shut down.

Hopefully I'll have something to put into the ground by the end of May, but if not, oh well. There are more important things to stress over.
