End the pandemic; stay home.

I know staying your homes and being quarantined or whatever it takes is no fun. It's not exactly like being in hiding but similar. I the '40s near the end of the war people hid from the Nazis because they might be arrested, jailed and maybe killed. Today we need to remain separate and away from others because we get the virus and bring it to our families. But not only our families, we may have the virus with no symptoms yet and continue shopping and going to public places and spread it to many others.

Please stay home as much as possible.

I'm staying home. They'll have to restart the economy without me. I want to be able to watch my grandchildren grow up.

I did not leave my house all weekend, but tomorrow it's back to work in the clinic. Friday, I was put in charge of screening patients as they arrived. I have no idea many temperatures I took, but it was a couple of hundred, I'm sure. I do not have a respirator. They give us #2 masks. I also have to ask the patient if they have a new or worsening cough, shortness of breath or have been running a fever during the last seven days. For the most part the clinic is closed, we are only seeing patients with ailments such as UTIs, pre-natal check-ups, lacerations, etc. Most of the patients were coming in for lab work or the pharmacy. I'm as careful as I can be, but it still scares me. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be back on the registration desk.
