Looking for Surgical Masks?

I saw a thread here earlier and can't seem to find it, others were asking about where to find surgical masks.

If you don't want to get extremely gouged on eBay for up to $100 for 40-50 surgical masks,

WYZE is now (for a limited time) offering 50 surgical 3 ply masks for $29.99 and free shipping.

https://wyze.com/face-masks.html

If you're a healthcare worker:

Crocs is offering X amount of free pairs of Crocs to healthcare workers per day: (one pair per healthcare worker)

"Sharing a Free Pair for Healthcare"
.

"Thank you for the tremendous response to our donation efforts. Due to extremely high volume, we have met our daily free pair limit. Please check back at 12 p.m. ET Monday, April 20th to get in line for your free pair."

I've down it twice for my niece after being online almost immediately after an hour and 1/2 they said they had 350000 people on line. She has found only one in her entire hospital that got a pair.

If they really wanted to get them out there they would take the info for the mailings. Sitting in the queue for hours to only find out well we gave out enough today.

I just saying its a game I've gotten in before 12pm and still zip.

I can't believe you sat in the queue for hours...and nothing.

I secured a pair for one of my kids within 10 minutes, whereas my other kid got a pair within 30 minutes (same day).

I forwarded the Croc link to my Sister, as she's a healthcare worker as well and she was able to get a pair today with a 15 minute wait time.

Odd.

not really for antiviral use. Another site describes them as "antibacterial" (bacteria are enormously larger than viruses).

I might try one of these over an N95 mask so I can reuse the N95 with more confidence.

I can't seem to find them anywhere, although counterfeit 3M N-95's are showing up everywhere.
I've reported many on eBay for weeks now.

I think their hospitals have enough for about 2 weeks.

They're irate when they see all of these protests, I can't tell you what they tell me.

Thanks for your concern.

Some hospitals are using them.
"There, at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease (TCID), staff receive a special mask on the first day of their orientation — it’s theirs to keep and maintain throughout the year. The mask, known as an elastomeric respirator, is made of durable plastic and has a facepiece that goes over the mouth and nose attached to two cartridge filters that attach on the left and right sides."

I actually saw that, sent it to both of them and purchased one for each with replaceable cartridge filters, which should last a few months.

The ones at the link have to be "fit-tested" but what I found was as close to those as I could get.

It got to be too costly for me to keep spending thousands on N-95's, not to mention the majority on eBay now are counterfeit and offer no protection.

Thanks again for the link!
