Name one public person you are thankful for.

I am thankful for Governor Tony Evers (Dem, WI) for doing the right things, at the right time, and showing excellent judgment in a crisis.

His last post was superintendent of schools for the state of WI - for a while he was the only Democratic elected official in state government. I am so glad he was willing to run for governor and take the state through this crisis.

Considering the position he was coming from (the latest elections did help a lot) he has done very well. 76% approval of handling the crisis in a VCU Wilder School survey done recently.

He also can’t run for Governor again by Commonwealth Constitution. That alleviated a lot of concerns for him.

Whom I feel did the most to expose Trump for the lawless, immoral, self-serving bastard that he is...

Which is only underscored during his horrendous/criminally negligent mishandling of this pandemic!!!

He's smart, articulate, and lays out the sometimes confusing mechanics of the pandemic in a cogent, fact-based manner. I know I'm better informed every time an NBC affiliate has him on for a segment. He doesn't grandstand and he doesn't get bogged down in personalities any more than is necessary.

for bringing into the national discourse the compromised mental health of the president, and doing so in the face of an onslaught of criticism from all quarters, but eventually winning over thousands of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals who have since joined her cause.

Bandy Xenobia Lee (born 1970) is an American psychiatrist with Yale University, and a specialist in violence prevention programs in prisons and in the community who initiated reforms at New York's Rikers Island prison. Her scholarly work includes the writing of a comprehensive textbook on violence.[1]

In 2017, Lee attracted attention for organizing a conference at Yale on professional ethics surrounding the mental health of Donald Trump. She withheld her views at the conference[2] but later prominently criticized the American Psychiatric Association for changing an ethical guideline called the Goldwater rule with the Trump presidency.[3] In March 2017, the association had expanded the rule to restrict not just diagnosis but any comment on the mental health of public figures absent a personal examination, misleadingly calling it a "reaffirmation." This change alarmed Lee and her colleagues[4] enough to lead to her conference[5] and, later, to co-authoring The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, a book of essays that warned against the dangers of Trump's mental instability.
