The GOP is natorious for treating theme music as if it is free and made just for them.
Palin was told to stop using many songs and isn't the only one.

BTW, Fucik wrote it. It's often wrongly attributed to Sousa, who wrote a different arrangement of it. It's probably been used more often to introduce clowns at the circus than any other piece of music.
