I cut my wife's hair. My daughter says it looks absolutely adorable.
I also gave her a pedicure on the back porch and painted her toenails.
It is amazing what you can do when your not just thinking of yourself.

(205 posts)Seriously......if you are good at it, do it, even if it is part time. I need one, once this coronavirus nonsense is finished.

(23,975 posts)My hair stylist is the only person who has touched my hair in the last 25 years. She is extremely talented. My hair is a combination of straight and wavy, so it is not easy to cut, and my style is short with lots of texturing.
I go to her every 4-5 weeks, and she was kind enough to squeeze me extra in right before the shut down in Illinois, as my next appointment was scheduled after the shutdown. By the time things open up, I will be in serious need of her talents. I have a tentative appointment May 12th, by which time it will be 7 weeks.
I have, out of desperation, trimmed bangs and nape of neck once already - it gets too long there first.
