(53,410 posts)That day and the next 20 days while the hanging chads were counted then discarded as the Supreme Court SELECTED George Bush. The day the Constitution died.
For me it was also the day I lost all respect for Supreme Court justices. I guess I was fairly naive and thought we could always count on them to do the right thing, but boy was I ever wrong!
Watching the confirmation hearings for Boofer Boy Kavanaugh only cemented that in my mind.
