Of course McConnell does!

He says “ states should consider bankruptcy over help by the federal government”! Boy, the apple doesn’t fall to far from Trump! He think bankrupting states is an easy way out, they don’t have to worry about spending their precious time to help out people!

Using bankruptcy as a tool in order to gain control of democratic institutions in the states and hence driving further the 1% agenda. This is part of the plan. The additional direction is that the blue states are more heavily driven to provide for their populace in what we consider a more compassionate approach to governance. This is something the Repugs have always been trying to fight against because that is a barrier to their winner take all approach. Blue states set a bad example for them and they wish to destroy that.

This desire by Repugs to do this is akin to a kind of virus on it's own that infects their compassion gene( if they even have one).
