MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Governor Bill Lee plans on ordering five million masks for Tennesseans as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
The plan was presented to state lawmakers Wednesday and involves using Amazon to distribute the masks across the state. Other details are still being worked out.
“I never heard a timeline on when the masks would be in,” Rep. Antonio Parkinson (D-Memphis) said.
Rep. Parkinson supports the plan but worries it won’t happen fast enough. The governor’s Safer at Home order ends next week, and many Tennessee businesses could reopen May 1.

And what does this even mean? Is he supposedly planning to tax Amazon delivery service with delivering one to every household? 🤯

Not even sure what that article means. Is he claiming hes going to have Amazon sell masks that are restricted to medical purchases only & force Amazon to deliver the masks to each household? How would they know how many for each family?

And, note that not 1 person on his tsdk force from Vanderbilt Univ. He announced his big reopening plan a day or 2 afyer Vanderbilt released TN projection that the state will likely peak in mid-June IF all restrictions remain in place.
