In one graphic, here is why Georgia is wanting to reopen

They have one of the highest increases in unemployment claims.

This chart also indicates that red states are hurting the most economically. Hopefully, this might sway some voters in November.

2 million unemployment claims from people who were actually able to fight their way through the system. Of those, something like 5% (100K) are actually getting money. You can't tell me 1.5 million claims were filed since Saturday.

"Florida has one of the worst records for benefit payments in the country, paying less than 16 percent of the claims filed since March 15, according to the state’s Department of Economic Opportunity."
