If you get "I Love Donald Trump" tattooed on your dick, you will not get the virus.

You can trust me, I'm not a medical professional.

A massage would be nice but I can manage without, and I wouldn't get a tattoo if you paid me because I think they're hideous. And I should think that even those who like them can get by for awhile un-inked.

The people who offer these services are, of course, suffering. If we lived in a civilized country they would be able to get some meaningful financial help until it's safe for them to re-open.

As much as a massage can be healthy and helpful, it is not an essential service. Hair salons and tattoo parlors without any doubt, equivocation, or explanation necessary; are not essential services.

My wife has been deliberating about needing to cut her hair for weeks before this began, but she knows that getting a hair cut is the least important thing to think about during a pandemic. We struggle with having to go out and buy food. We are not going to risk our health and that of our children for a hair cut or style.

Me personally, I cut my own hair. Haven't been to a barber in over 10 years. Is my hair perfect? Nope. I have a simple short haircut and I struggle to eliminate the line for the different layers of shave that I do with my clippers, but it is good enough.

Every state with a stay at home order has declared them essential and they are operating. So everyone's definition of what is "essential" is different. That is the problem with picking and choosing winners and losers.

Hair salons are closed in Illinois but recently the Mayor of Chicago was caught when her stylist posted a picture of her on instagram giving the mayor a haircut (no masks or gloves). The mayor told the media she had to look good unlike "regular people".

We had kids going door to door in our neighborhood today selling candy so they'd qualify for some program or other.

Face mask? Nah. Mine's in the car.

Did the kids have face masks? Of course not. On the other hand, they looked to be young enough that even when the mandatory face-mask order goes into effect on Monday they'd still be exempt.

The little darlings.

And their bastid handlers.

States know that so to push their gambling business the states declare it to be "essential". Money over public health.
