and they still try to explain it away. They are trying to say he never said inject disinfectant now, when he clearly said it. You can't reason with them. Spare yourself the frustration. Finding something else to do and staying away from toxic people is the best thing to do. It is way less stressful. Stress is a killer. Don't let them kill you. They wouldn't think twice about it.

My own mother and stepfather are that way. My whole family is that way, even though I already was having nothing to do with the rest any more. Kicking the toxic negativity and stupidity of my mother and stepfather out of my life has been a blessing. I have done a lot of growing since then and realized just how far down they had beaten my self esteem with their gaslighting of me. I now realize I do have friends when I thought I did not. It is a freeing experience.

At least don't let them get to you so much, even if you don't want to take drastic action like I did. You will see a world of difference. They don't pay rent to live in your head and they won't pay with your life when the stress and frustration of dealing with them causes you health problems. You will be the one that pays and they won't ever take responsibility for it either.

My family is that way. They don't care. They turn around and say I should be put in a nuthouse because I'm sick of dealing with their stupidity and their insistence that politically and in every other way, if I don't accept what they say as gospel, it means I am nuts. There are other viewpoints. They need to accept that and quit gaslighting.

That is what right wing family members do. They would do horrible things to you that you would never dream of doing to anyone, because that is how right wingers think. They get off on hurting people. They are toxic. Accept that fact and you will be much better off.
