I mean it is true and should be true, but the reality is that Trump is going to do what all Republicans do. Lie. He is going to keep hitting Biden with the 1.5 billion dollar lie. Then deny deny deny any problems with China, even though they own 70% of a few of his buildings, he owes them 10's of millions of dollars, and Ivanka and Jared are totally in bed with China on loans and patents.

Remember that the Cohn strategy is to take the strength of your opponent and hit him with that. Biden is not a corrupt person but he will be painted as one by Trump, the most corrupt politician ever.

It doesn't change that this blunts any line of attack he uses because someone can just remind everyone of this huge loan Trump got from China.

People don't believe that Biden is corrupt. It worked against Clinton because a lot of people already had the prior that the Clintons are corrupt. People DO think Trump is corrupt, however.

This isn't going to work for him. Biden is basically Trump in that attacks don't really stick to him. The primary should have shown that. As long as Trump attacks it just continues the conversation on his own problems while the Biden stuff just kind of falls off.
