Yesterday I tweeted criticism of Trump, and I dropped a F bomb. Some have complained in the replies about how this vulgar display of uncontrolled emotion, as well as me expressing my political opinions, hurts my credibility.

My response? Fuck that.

As a virologist, my professional opinion of this tweet is fuck off, you cowardly, fragile, gaslighting liar whose own repeated extolling of inaccuracies have directly gotten people killed.

it's pronounced "eff", so "an F bomb" sounds correct, but it's literally a consonant, and you'd say "a fuck bomb", so...

15. I work in Forms and Instructions. We looked it up. If a consonant sounds like

a vowel then it's perfectly okay to use "an" instead of "a". So that's what we do in all of our Forms and Instructions.

I'm from an older generation and we were taught to use "an" if a consonant sounds like a vowel, as well as, if a word started with a vowel. It's only been in the last few years that people decided to drop the word "an" out of our vocabulary and only use "a"
