Well the sorry Governor of Texas is forcing his executive orders over the whole state.

I am watching the Mayor of Houston now on tv.

The Mayor of Houston and the County Judge did a great job.

They closed the rodeo in February which is a big deal in Houston.

We know Trump is behind this.

He needs the economy back up and running.

My ass is staying on the farm.

I am close to Austin but I not about to go there.

We were getting this under control now Trump and his Republican ass kissers will get more people sick and dead.

Y'all stay safe.

I'm sticking to short runs for groceries and prescription refills. My yard is calling me...time to start the garden, clean up from the mess winter left behind, enjoying being out in the sunshine.

I thought I might run up to Thomasville this week for a haircut, a tattoo, catch a movie, and eat at a cheap buffet.

I know what you are saying. DeSantis will not get me out of the house either. I will be self quarantining until it is safe to stop.

These governors want to open the States when NOTHING has changed. The virus is not less deadly or contagious, There is no prevention or treatment, and there is not system in place for mass testing and isolating the infected. So that means that either the previous self-isolation was a huge waste or effort and money, or that we are bound to pay a premium price in lives to get our hair trimmed.

These know, that once the stay home orders are lifted, they will not be reinstated no matter how devastating the virus becomes. They are too short-sighted and greedy to see that they are going to wreck the nation.

My parents moved to Jefferson Avenue, sometime in the early '80's when the city took their property to expanded the police/fire departments. I don't remember what their house number was on Jefferson.

They just can't wait till the orders are lifted fully.

I mention that there will be a second wave of infections if we lift it to early or incorrectly and they just think I am crazy.

Oh well, I got my masks...I'll keep doing what I do.

I expect to get some assholes confronting me if I go out shopping but I don't care so long as they are six feet away I'll be cool.

Texas has no state income tax. It makes it’s money through oil revenues, property taxes, and sales tax. All three are way down so we are headed for BIG TROUBLE!!!

I'm thinking that by this time next month hospitals are going to be slammed and we'll be trying to find a place for mass graves like New York.

This is a typical evil repub move. To hell with people, business is more important.

I just hope my friends and family don't need hospital care for some serious ailment like cardio or some other oldster need.

Because this will backfire on them when a lot more people become ill, some seriously ill. They may have lawsuits to worry about . Worsening the virus situation will only make more people run from trump and republicans, no matter how much they try to lie their way out of it.

Houston and Harris County did well.

How many people are going to wear masks now.

It is as if they are oblivious to the virus. I spoke with a gentleman who looked to be in his 60's or 70's and he did not seem concerned at all. He was eyeballing my wife and I up and down as we were both masked and gloved. He was cordial enough and just acted like he was passing time, but I could tell he was skeptical.

We will just keep on keeping on until the science tells me otherwise.
