(1,062 posts)... however, it took the tack that significant changes would happen only after 50+ years to a hundred. As a result of this Pandemic, with the changes to the 1)air quality, 2) water, and 3) animals wandering amongst our ruins... it would seem that rather than years in the process, Mother Nature is fully capable of 'cleaning up our mess' within months, mere months.
That ought to be a bit of a wake up call for those of us who only believe we are the "Apex" rather than just another mere member of this world.

It will be interesting to see how difficult it is to return to the society where we have encroached on these beautiful beings for far too great an extent. Leaving those trash barrels out at the curb might not be advisable for quite a while, and I wouldn't plant any expensive shrubbery either!
