doesn't much matter anyway. *any* way republicans defend donnie is bad for them.

Rebukes would like nothing better - “look at the Democrats, playing politics instead of dealing with the pandemic.” The optics would be terrible.

we can accompany it with a statement saying we're deliberately not adding new charges or holding new hearings precisely because of the important work at hand. in fact, we can send up the charges on the same day as we send up the next stimulus bill.

note also, that donnie and the republicans are already playing politics with it.

we have to say, hey, this is the last guy america should want to be in charge our pandemic defense.

Anything that adds to the narrative, “both sides are playing politics” helps the pukes by keeping voter turnout low so their cultists can carry the day. If “didn’t bother to vote” had been a candidate in 2016, it would have won in a three way race. Of course “didn’t bother to vote” would do a better job than Trump.

They'll have some b.s. narrative no matter what we do. They'll misquote, lie, or invent scandals if need be. Always.

We just need to focus on our own talking points.

And I think donnie being impeached *twice* and senate republicans giving him a pass *twice* makes our story stronger.

And I think it helps us take back the senate, tying republicans tightly to donnie.

Then the GOP can put big signs in each cemetery saying "We built this!"
