In reality, (not Alice in Wonder Land reality) this is what reopen the economy really means.

If we are lucky, smart, not foolish, we may be able to open the economy at 25% to 50% of capacity. Social distancing demands that we cannot reopen at a higher level.

We cannot come close to fully reopening the economy without eliminating social distancing. That is a fact.

We all know what will happen if we stop social distancing. This reality tells us the economy will be in jeopardy for a very long time.

I’m stunned by the change of discussion in a week. Even democratic governors are talking gradual reopening. It just seems so worthwhile to have majority open June 1st. I just feel like that extra month would do wonders at beating this beast.
