Mike Pence Suggests America Is Too Dumb To See What A Great Job Trump Has Done On Testing

From the article:

When a reporter asked Mike Pence why the Trump administration has failed to live up to its initial promise on coronavirus testing capacity, the vice president blamed the media and the American public for not understanding just how good a job the president has done.
“Mr. Vice President, back in early March you said we’d be at four million tests by the following week,” Jonathan Karl of ABC News pointed out at Monday’s press conference. “We’ve just now got there in the last few days.”

“What lessons have you learned from the mistakes over the last month and a half or so?” Karl asked.

To answer the last question first, Trump has learned nothing.

And I might add, if I were cruel, that 63 million US voters were too dumb to be allowed to vote, and many of that same 63 million have themselves learned nothing.

But I am too kind, and polite, to say such a thing.

That's interesting considering it is coming from a walking Q-Tip who calls his wife Mother and secretly wants to be in charge of a theocracy if given the chance. Oh, and his political work in the past speaks volumes.

He is of the Republican, keep 'em dumb and entranced approach. They usurp a belief system, (this happens in many countries) and then use gullibility and beliefs to manipulate their victims. Like it or not, there are simple and poorly educated people. There are people who have faith and religion, but no wisdom to understand how easily that can be used against them and others. I would add that, their own "good book" gives ample warnings about that, but who reads it?

It is also interesting that Barr is also a fundamentalist. He advocates for sledgehammering the wall between Church and State an supports groups that function in that capacity and who call it their "rights". In that case, Barr is also biased in the theocratic direction and that is an ongoing threat. Trump has played to that base and would, at some point, have to capitulate to both the theocratic movements and the oligarchs, so we get spectrum of anti-democratic interests in that case.

That's another reason that TRUMP MUST BE DEFEATED AT ALL COSTS. There is no other option if we don't want to lose it all big time in another term of destruction, negligence, cronyism and a long list of other upsetting detriments.

We did the isolation thing to buy time. Here we are, six or eight weeks later, and the administration has done not quite jack shit with the time we bought for them at great personal sacrifice. Businesses folding, millions out of work, services and resources stretched to the breaking point, and all Trump has done in that time is go golfing, host rallies, and whine about how unfair everything is to him.
