Has anyone had that comment? I put the infor in and says nope, not matching their information. Now, I moved since 2018. I do not have the same bank from 2018. I do file 2019 taxes with new information. I hear they stopped doing taxes to work on stimulus. My taxes were sent in on April 2 with Trubo and was my address, not my bank info.
Anything from anyone?
Who would I get a hold of with this? IRS does not have a telephone number.
Thanks for your help.
I waited it out as it just wouldn't work but rec'd the money about a week later

(9,952 posts)but i have not received the refund yet. I was told they stopped doing the tax returns and set them to the side to work on this. So, my concern is they did not get my new information and tried to send it to my old account and that is why it is saying the information does not match because I have a new address too.

(35,454 posts)but it seems they are very good at tracking info. I'd give it another week or so. I noticed here yesterday that there are still people who haven't rec'd checks yet.

(1,104 posts)there's a place where you can log in and look at all your past returns and then you can copy your AGI and other stuff directly from the data that they have on record

The site told me that my 2019 return might not have been processed yet, and to use my 2018 return, instead.
When I did that everything worked fine. It ID's me correctly, asked me for my bank routing number, and a day later it told me when my payment would be direct deposited.
Are you certain you're using your correct Adjusted Gross Income amount?

(35,325 posts)processed yet. So I used the information from my 2018 form and it went through.

(9,952 posts)though and see if that does it. But I need it sent here. I could put the new bank info in if I call it up. I will see. Thanks. Pain in the ass. Four weeks at trying to get unemployment and now this, lol. Nothing is easy.

(35,325 posts)the same bank that I have now. I didn't see anything about how to change your banking information. Good luck with that.

(12,370 posts)If you didn't, call your congress critter's office.
If that doesn't work, there is supposed to be a question attached to your 1099 to ask if you received your payment. Proceed from there.
I know that isn't what you asked, but it is a back-up in case all else fails.

(9,952 posts)I will try that. The only thing I can think that may be different, yet still be right. Thanks. I didn't have a space between my street and Dr and that held unemployment up.

(23,307 posts)For 2 weeks, the site told me there was no info available. Then, over the weekend the message changed and it told me that I needed to enter my banking/tax return information. My 2019 return isnt yet complete...so I entered my 2018 information straight off of my 2018 tax return...now it says my information doesnt match their records. This is so frustrating. My banking information has been the same for 30 years so its either my AGI or my refund from 2018 thats the hang up. Both of those line items are on my 2018 return so I dont know why it isnt accepted on the website.

(23,307 posts)It seems the hang up was in the "amount of refund" box. I was owed a refund in 2018 but I chose to apply it to 2019 taxes because I knew I would owe that next year...so instead of entering the actual amount of the refund, my accountant recommended I enter $0 (just the zero, no $ sign) in that box since I didn't actually get a check for that amount and it went through!! I've been pulling my hair out over this.
The other recommendation from the accountant was to enter my address exactly as it was the tax form. I live on a "street" but my tax form did not note the word "street" or the abbreviation "st". So, my address is XXX Example Street, I entered XXX Example. No street or st.
I hope this helps somebody. I have really appreciated all of the suggestions and help.

(9,952 posts)entered address. But, I have a dentist appt soon. I will sit down with this tonight. I have a different address for 2018 and that might be what they are looking at. I had a different bank account. I had the tax dude do 2018. Thanks.
And it is still saying I am locked out because I did it too many times.

(268 posts)the address on your tax return. Copy and paste it from the tax return. Even a period out of place caused them to not recognize my information. Apparently, I put a period after St on my tax form and that was the issue that caused non-matching info. Good luck!
