I just listened to a several minute long story that author Kelly Corrigan told at the end of PBS News Hour. it was wonderful. It was moving and inspiring and I am going to tune in again when it repeats, so I can fully pay attention and absorb it in its entirety.
It had to do with current life during CV and social distancing. My ears really pricked up when she said that after coronavirus, everyone will vote. it continued on with a vision of how life will be different after... I had tears in my eyes. It was uplifting.
I couldn't find a link at pbs or google... maybe later.

And that kids who live through the virus will value science, and
will become scientists and researchers.

I think people will treasure personal connections and relationships more. I think there will be less emphasize on stuff and consumption.
I live in a kind of double cul-de-sac shaped like the Greek letter Pi -- π. I'm seeing and briefly chatting with neighbors I've never met before. I'm telling them that someday, when all this is over, we need to have a block party for all of us. I point out it won't be very soon, maybe even a year down the road. Everyone thinks this is a great idea. It should be giant fun when it finally happens.
