But would she be a good choice? She’s never run for office before and she gives the GOP an excuse to bring up Benghazi again.

She would be about as qualified as a human can be. I would be thrilled. She may be insufficiently phony to be a good politician. She has a disturbing tendency to tell the truth.

She knows her stuff

I'm not sure she's the best candidate but she is a very capable woman.

really smart person and knows national security and foreign policy.

If not VP, then she'd be a great Secretary of State.

My biggest issue is that she's never run for office at any level, so I'm not sure how she would do over the course of several months of campaigning

I think she would be a GREAT vice president, but not a wise choice for a VP candidate, for the reason you mention. But I'll be rooting for either her or Fiona Hill for secretary of state in the Biden administration.

12. She is the daughter of a late, very successful American investment banker.

I don't know who her mom is, but her dad was a born citizen of the USA. The things that may work against her is Benghazi (yes, repughs will run to play her statements in the early hours of that), and she is massively wealthy, having inherited hundreds of millions of dollars from her dad (I believe that she was an only child and her mom died young, if I remember what I read about her). When she was in government, she was the richest person in the Federal government, that is how rich she is.

Darrell Issa, John Kerry, John Delaney, Pelosi, Feinstein, Jared Polis, Mark Warner, Hillary Clinton, Penny Pritzker (multi billionaire), etc were all worth far more.

get the nod, but risk-averse Biden may have the Benghazi's and not want to deal with it.

I see so many say Secretary of State for her, but unless we take back the Senate by at least 51 or 52, that is so not happening. McTurtle will NEVER give her a vote if he is still the leader. I hate that fucker almost as much as Rump himself. Then Ivanka, Jared, Barr, and the two berk bros, Gym Jordan and that fuckstick Gaetz. Many others too, most all Rethugs are bellends.

I am sure she is on the short list. I and others have mentioned her several times on this board as good choice for VP.
