Sean Hannity bought 500 New York Yankees tickets for healthcare workers

The guy's generosity is exploratory. BUTTTT- it seems like he might have had some other reason than being a nice guy.

Instead of donating PPE, Sean Hannity reached into his deep pockets and bought 500 New York Yankees tickets for healthcare workers, a purchase that will probably only benefit himself and his pal, the president of the club...
...
Sean Hannity joined the #CombatCOVID19Challenge on Sunday — but instead of buying groceries for a community center or delivering food to hospitals, like some of his other Fox News colleagues, the primetime host donated 500 Yankees tickets to medical workers in New York.

The catch, of course, is that the Yankees — and the rest of Major League Baseball — currently aren’t playing any games due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, so it’s not immediately clear when any of the medical workers would be able to use the tickets. (And whether health-care workers on the frontlines of the pandemic are going to be eager to return to a crowded stadium anytime soon.)

Plus he'll probably write it off as a tax break

Maybe he’s betting that without PPE, the health workers won’t live long enough to see the games re open.

Hannity could have helped in a number of concrete ways.
All he did here was make a political statement ("re-open the economy!!!&quot , and try to look like a good guy.

It cannot be repeated often enough: The cruelty is the point. Everyone must be made to see the sneering, smirking contempt, even it must never be stated outright.

And yeah, tax break. That's the cherry on top. He probably hasn't stopped laughing about it off-camera.

Selfish arrogant piece of shit. He doesn't get people what they need or want, he gets them what HE likes and wants. Goes with his stupid suggestion that they re-open Yankee Stadium and have all the vendors wear gear and test everyone going into the stadium, like they would have instant results (when we can't even get enough tests for everyone who needs them.

Coward Hannity, How about Pay Per View to your waterboarding for charity?

You could buy 500 tickets to donate.

I would donate extra if you last over two minutes.

Shut up about downplaying the virus, shut up about opening up the economy. I imagine they prefer their safety over a damn baseball ticket.
