My idiot neighbors are having a party

Like close up, loud music. I knew the minute stuff was being let up in Texas it would happen. Amarillo is on the rise due to meat packaging plants here. So here we go. The morons are all thinking nothing had happened.

and we may never be clear of this, DUE to places like Texas. Maybe Covid-Free passports should be issued, from states where facts prevail.

is going to decimate places like Florida, Georgia, Texas, when coupled with ill considered "reopening". What will happen is lots of people will be in an environment that is perfect for covid19 surviving for days on surfaces, or for hours in the air.

kicked on their AC for long stretches. I used my ceiling fans and when I walked close to neighbor's homes, I noticed that not many were using AC. Also, if you still remember the dynamics of that period, things cooled down considerably once the Sun went down and stayed comfortable - I actually had to use two sheets to prevent my bedroom ceiling fan from over cooling me at night during that time. I had to go to Lowes during that time and noticed that it didn't even have on AC. Now that it is cooler, I turn the ceiling fan off at night.

I truly have concluded that AC, once it is in daily use, is the worse thing that can happen to Floridians in terms of covid19, more of us are going to contract that virus.

If I had to hold out that long, I'd be eating peanut butter pancakes and SPAM and beans at the end, but I'd make it.

I started meat rationing almost three weeks ago. From here on I'm hoping to replace what I use with what I can get, and I won't be too picky. I think we may see food rationing before we're all done with this. Imagine the morons if that happens.

My throwback is spaghetti, with pretty much any type of sauce.

Luckily for me, I am single, a one-stop grocery trip an last me for weeks, except for veggies. For example, I can take a package of 5-8 boned, skinned chicken breasts and make 10-16 meals from that. I don't eat a lot of beef, but I can make around 8 meals from a pound of hamburger, or 6-10 meals from a single London broil steak. I really don't eat much meat, so the slaughterhouse situation does not have me concerned, other than for the safety of workers in them (I am ok with them closing until is is safe for workers to work in them).

with most ingredients being canned items. Start with a large can of diced tomatoes, add cans of corn, mushrooms, green beans, red or white beans, pasta, and whatever else hits your fancy. Season to taste and simmer. (I like to add cumin and chili powder for a little kick.) Make it thick and loaded; serve with a crusty bread or rolls. It's cheap, easy, and uses items that are still in stock.

It'll be my ace-in-the-hole during this meat shortage.

There will be informal rationing based on costs and availability.

I probably have a good two months supply of food, depending on being able to continue to purchase fresh vegetables and various other staples.

We will not be faced with supermarkets with completely empty shelves. There will be shortages, yes. I'm somewhat taken aback at the (to me) off-brand, unrecognized brands of certain things, like flour, on the shelves. Clearly the supermarkets are doing their best to make sure that everything possible, like flour, is in stock. I applaud them. I just keep on hoping I can find unbleached, not bleached flour in the near future.

If it got bad enough I’ve got a .22 rifle and there are lots of squirrels in the back yard. I’m from Louisiana. Cleaned and eaten many of them. Now I’m starting to wonder if it was a joke at all!

Although squirrels and Dumplings is pretty good eating! Young ones fried like chicken is great as well.

Who could have known?

They screech at the highest volume possible earlier today. . For some reason I have not heard them for years- I was hoping they had moved or that maybe they had finally stop screeching. It doesn’t surprise me in the midst of all of this they are having a party. I have been ill with covid pneumonia for almost 4 weeks now, I am sure these idiots won’t be sick a day. It always seems to be that way. Murphy’s law or whatever.

So this whole beautiful, loving family, really nice people, are gathering from all over for a Welcome Home party.

I fear for them even if they don't fear for themselves.

I saw the point made that the virus cannot travel. It has to be carried. It can only move as far as we let it.

She and her girlfriends have done occasional parking lot visits. The all take lawn chairs and get fast food, sit in their bikinis at their old high school and talk and get some sun for a few hours. They sit about six feet apart. I’ve been ok with it. She’s outside, can see folks, and is safe.

Usually.

It’s almost midnight. She’s ghosted me. I have no idea where she is. I’m both worried that she will feel she has to come home, even if she’s been drinking - and that she’s exposed herself. I’m high risk and her grandpa is nearly 90.

Not just worried. I’m pissed.

not using any face masks and no social distancing

I found out, when I retrieved my garbage cans and notice the party going on.

I immediately called the police.

These covidiots do not realize that this is a national security issue and
is costing us lives and trillions of dollars as well as people having to stay
quarantined longer and out of work.

I don't think they care
