very sad sight at the grocery store today........

May is month where I always buy a couple greeting cars. My wife has her birthday and later on is our anniversary.

I stopped in the card aisle this morning to peruse the offerings.

While scanning the aisle I noticed a huge hole where almost all the cards were gone.

It was the sympathy section.....

A lot of businesses have had to rethink their delivery chain.

double check on the TP status (the online catalog was showing it sold out). She's an Instacart employee and told me that when the shipment of toilet paper came in that morning she'd grabbed a few and set them aside for her customers. She said, "I got you!"

Guess who got a very nice tip.

So while I'm in chat mode I ask if my shopper will be bringing my groceries out to my car or if it will be someone else. It's almost always the same person. After I've confirned that, I tell them to take the ten I've got tucked between my cargo liner and my trunk interior. It's not much, and I wish I could do more, but it is what it is. My last pickup shopper was a woman in her 60's or 70's. She actually hobbled out to my car. Get this, no mask.

We're on the west coast of Florida. Where are you?

because it's been 2 months already. TP manufacturers are been making tons of it for the consumer market.

If you want it badly enough, there is tons of TP, disinfectant, and other products available in the commercial market that is normally sold to businesses. I haven't used it but here's one site I saw that has plenty in stock https://www.bulkofficesupply.com/

Too many working class people are victims, in more ways than one. When the next wave hits, maybe we will think of the first victims as "the lucky ones"? I have never like tRump, but the hatred I feel for him now is consuming my every thought. I DESPISE that worthless piss-poor excuse for a human being.
