America, aren't you willing to die for the My Pillow guy?

That's basically what the 1% is telling you.

According to Chris Christie, we sent our young men off to WWI and WWII knowing that a lot of them would come back in body bags.

Surely, fighting global fascism and the preservation of Democracy is just exactly the same as dying for a massage, pedicure and frosted bangs.

Where's your sense of sacrifice America? Daddy needs a new pair of shoes and some jelly donuts.

Our young boys traveled thousands of miles to confront Mustard Gas, tanks and genicide. You could at least go to PacSun and Old Navy.

At one time, our young people stormed the beaches of Normandy. Now it's your time to sacrifice and storm the beaches of Clearwater.

Get off your ass America! The billionaire who generously tolerates your existence to serve him, needs a 5 point pop in the Stock Market. I'm sure he'll trickle some down to you.

"I regret that I only have one life to give for Starbucks".

That's your new rallying cry you fucking progues.

Americans would have adequate relief packages and wouldn't have to choose between trying to keep a job and dying.

Trump is a fucking moron and he has bungled this from the outset.

Of course I'm concerned about feeding my family and paying my bills.

I'm more concerned with my family living.

In this, the richest country in the world, you shouldn't have to decide between feeding your family, or risking death.

That's what a functional government is for.

It's to step up during a crisis. It's why we were able to fight two world wars... and yes, we did have rationing, but we pulled each other through it.

There were bread and soup lines during the Great Depression, but there was soup and bread.

What you are experiencing right now is the result of 40 years of CONservative policies, ethics and morals.

There's plenty of money to pay bills and provide food for people that have lost their jobs. We just need to claw it back from the 1% that have gotten it all over the past 40 years.

Do I want our country and economy to get back to normal soon?

Fuck NO! Not if it's an economy that ensure 70% of Americans are just one or two paychecks from ruin, with no safety net to help.

Maybe that's your idea of Nirvana, but I'll pass.

for these complainers. All they do is spread complaints, amp each other up and go out and show off their ignorance.
I am of the generation that learned about the Depression from my parents. That influenced my life too as I know we were lucky to not have experienced it.
WWII - A neighbor told me her father moved the family to Germany expecting it would be safe but the bombs hit their first night there and kept the family inside for the duration.
I remember the people of Sarajevo darting between buildings to avoid gunfire just to get food.
I know there are refugee camps where people are suffering terribly but they carry on.

These little flowers who cannot even wear masks should be placed in detention.

common courtesies that will reduce the spread of a potentially fatal virus. These rules are to protect ourselves and OTHERS. It is a big show for some where I live to not obey those rules. That behavior increases the rate of illnesses and deaths. That is being done knowingly. So yes - I stand by my statement that people who feel free to endanger others should be detained, just as they were in the 1917 Flu Epidemic.

While in detention they can learn to grow up and have consideration for others. They could have classes and possible tours (virtual) of the Covid-19 wards in hospitals, if they want out, they can assist the over worked mortuaries, they can assist in hospitals where people are risking their health to help people - and now they will have to treat the stupids!

This is society failing and it makes me angry that idiots through their behavior will spread disease. Yes - I am intolerant of people like that.
Keep your advice too.

However, there is insurance. There is education. There is healthcare. There are survivor benefits.
We are comparing apples to oranges.
People that join the military go in eyes wide open.
People working low wage jobs at the grocery store with no benefits don’t.

I for one will not die for others to get a haircut or go to the beach. The complainers have no sense of common sense...they do not truly understand hardship or sacrifice. We are far from the greatest generation.
