Ponder this:

“The result of a consistent and total substitution of lies for factual truth
is not that the lie will now be accepted as truth and truth be defamed as a lie,
but that the sense by which we take our bearings in the real world
— and the category of truth versus falsehood is among the mental means to this end
— is being destroyed."

Hannah Arendt

Arendt's study of evil is intense, I still can only take small bites at a time.

I read a little then spend time thinking about it. Read some more, repeat the process.

It took me a good while to get through "The Origins of Totalitarianism ".

As our own Skittles would say - "someone's always here."

A riff on that might be - "someone's always up."

Why is torturing the American psyche the method of choice for the tRumpublican Party? Are they that vacuous? Or that cruel? And why to your fellow citizens? Democrats dared to pass health care legislation and they sold their souls and totally lost their minds.
