Plenty of people are following the rules and will continue to do so. Most of them probably don’t have much of a cash reserve, or have low paying jobs. And the younger folk are trying to raise families. If I was 30 I’d probably have a different attitude than I do. As long as they wear masks and distance and take precautions I’m not going to judge them. The real trump zealots though that want to endanger others as well as themselves deserve no sympathy when they get sick. They won’t ever realize that if we had a decent president they wouldn’t be losing their jobs. That’s an aspect that’s going to stay with us as well as a recession. The severity of the impacts are all in DJT’s hands but he’ll try to lay the blame in the democrats. It’s all he knows, take credit for everything and responsibility for nothing.

If I was still in my 20s I’d be working at a meat plant. I feel for those guys. It’s hard crappy work and most all of them are just trying to raise a family. But I don’t see them campaigning to lose the restrictions, they just want a safe work environment. But the RW wants them to get back to work the way it was before.

I bet the meat packers are hiring, or will be. My understanding is those guys were from all over the country. They should be headed to the nearest plant already.

It would be a pay cut at the packing house. Seems like the oil jobs are up and down and plenty of them will hold out hope the jobs will come back. But it sure doesn’t look like that’s the case to me.

3. I Disagree. I Would Bet They All Are

People who don't believe the virus is real. People who don't believe the virus is all that bad. People who would rather have a strong economy than be alive. These are all people brainwashed into doing Trump's bidding. And when you consider that the "Reopen The Economy" comprise only 10% of the population, it's not that ridiculous to think that they're all Trump cult members. Who else would be dumb enough to put the economy ahead of their own safety?

Trump only wants the economy to reopen because it's his only last-ditch shot to keep himself out of prison. But why would anyone else? You'd have to be a Trump sycophant. That's why I believe they all are.
