Mitt Romney left the Republican senators' weekly lunch carrying a giant poster with a graph on it.

It read: "Blue states aren't the only ones getting screwed."

New York and other blue states will be screwed first and they’ll let it go bankrupt. Once red states get close to bankruptcy it will be a crisis and immediate action will be needed.

Louisiana flips between red and blue so it’s not reliably republican.

Then democratic representatives and senators will be on the spot. Allow more states to go bankrupt, try to add something to help states that already went bankrupt or cave.

I hate the republican party.

it was stated that Romney should not attend CPAC because his safety could not be guaranteed due to his impeachment vote.

Reality check. He was their nominee for president in 2012.

Could you imagine a Republican saying this in 2020?
