Tell Administrator Who Fired Artificially Inseminated Woman to Resign

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/2/tell-principal-who-fired-artificially-inseminated-woman-to-resign/

Target: Holy Family and St. Lawrence Schools
Sponsored by: Concerned Activists

When Christa Dias, a technology coordinator at two Cincinnati Catholic schools, told her employer that she was pregnant and wanted to discuss maternity leave, they fired her for participating in the "grave immoral" act of artificial insemination.

The schools argue that Dias was fired for violating Catholic teachings, but firing a woman for being single and pregnant violates state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

Sign this petition to call for the resignation of the James Kiffmeyer, the pastoral administrator who fired Dias.

The church's policy that forbids artificial insemination is unfair because it is only enforced on women. Dias' physical state made it obvious she was pregnant, but men who participate in artificial insemination can remain undetected by the church, and so aren't held to the same standard as female employees.

Sign now to tell James Kiffmeyer to resign for unfairly firing Dias for being single and pregnant.

EITHER you are looking for a job, in which case you should expect the Constitution, Federal, and State law to apply,

OR you are looking for a church to join, and will give resources to them to support them, and shouldn't expect to get paid.

Take your pick.
